Pure Trade has introduced two new lipstick-holder accessories for Guerlain, bringing a more collectible and fashion-oriented approach to the traditional gift-with-purchase (GWP) concept. Developed for the French luxury house’s iconic KissKiss line, the accessories combine Guerlain’s distinctive design codes with recycled materials and refined decorative details.
Designed as bag charms, both pieces incorporate recycled Zamak and RPET while featuring some of Guerlain’s most recognizable symbols, including the House’s signature bee and KissKiss lips motif.
Golden Details for Influencer Gifting
The first design features an openwork golden lipstick case accompanied by four decorative charms, with Guerlain’s signature lips motif taking centre stage.
The charms are made from recycled Zamak, finished with gold electroplating and enhanced with epoxy colouring. Their connecting rings are assembled by hand, adding a carefully crafted detail to the accessory.
Developed specifically for influencer gifting, the piece goes beyond its function as a lipstick holder. Its design allows it to become part of a handbag while also lending itself naturally to social media content.
RPET Offers a New Take on the Lipstick Pouch
The second design, developed as a gift-with-purchase, comes in the form of a slim rectangular lipstick pouch with a supple red finish.
Instead of conventional coated leatherette, Pure Trade selected an RPET material engineered to provide a PU-and-suede effect on both the interior and exterior. This approach combines recycled content with the tactile characteristics associated with Guerlain’s luxury design codes.
A debossed Guerlain bee, gilded hardware, a Zamak carabiner and two enamelled charms complete the design. The charms feature a miniature lipstick and the signature KissKiss lips motif.
Guerlain’s Design Codes Move Beyond Packaging
Both accessories integrate Guerlain’s signature bee directly into their design, demonstrating how promotional gifts can extend beyond their traditional function and become distinctive expressions of a luxury brand’s identity.
With the KissKiss project, Pure Trade combines its expertise in luxury packaging with recycled materials and fashion-inspired design, transforming the gift-with-purchase into a collectible accessory that can remain part of the consumer experience long after the initial purchase.
